Meet Dr. Trushar Patel
Trushar Patel, DMD
Dentistry is an art, not just a profession. I love practicing dentistry because I get to work with each smile as if it is a unique canvas, allowing me to be creative in designing an ideal smile. My patients are a diverse, multi-faceted group of individuals who have entrusted me with their dental health. I feel very fortunate and privileged to be in a profession where I can forge long term relationships with people and in the process affect their lives positively in health, confidence, and happiness.
Education and Continuing Education
I find it very rewarding to be able to help patients of all ages achieve and maintain functional, beautiful smiles. To do this, I’ve made sure that I have the education and training patients can feel confident in. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Computer Science in 1999 from Mercer University. In 2004, I graduated from the world renowned Boston University's Goldman School of Dental Medicine with my Doctorate of Dental Medicine with honors.
An important aspect of continuing my education is staying involved with the dental community as a whole. I am an active member of numerous local, national, and international dental groups. These include the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics.
Office Life
Our office is smile oriented which means that not only do we want to create beautiful smiles, but we love smiling ourselves. I am so fortunate for the team we have created. They truly are a class act, work efficiently, tirelessly, and are very respectful of our patients. Each of them has special qualities that contribute to a true team environment.
Outside the Office
I was born in London, England and moved to the United States in 1996. I have been a resident of Norcross, GA since 2004. I am happily married to my wife, Sonal, and am the proud father of two angels, Lara who was born in 2005 and Serena who came into our lives in 2011. I enjoy spending valuable time with my growing family, traveling, drawing and painting, and participating in all types of sports. I can also be found cooking on the grill.
